Our congregation represents the recently merged congregations of Temple B’nai Sholom of Rockville Centre and Congregation Beth David of Lynbrook.
Since our founding more than a century ago, we have been dedicated to the spirit and aims of Conservative Judaism. As we strive to maintain our Jewish identity in an ever-changing world, we are aware of the need for change and development within the all-important framework of Jewish tradition. Women as well as men participate in all aspects of religious life at our synagogue.
As you know, on Holocaust Remembrance Day of 2016, Dr. Martin Greenberg made a presentation to the congregation about the history of our Torah that survived the Holocaust, aquired from Bukovice, Czechoslovakia 36 years ago.
